That's awesome, about time eh. I see yours was recived on Jan 17th, mine got the Jan 19, as of Friday they had scanned my photo and sent it off to the CFO, so hopefully by wensday, mine is a go

For sure buddy you may even see it before then. Was worried seeing others posting theirs When mine arrived before theirs

First it was truck parts, now it will be guns and ammo, guess I'm growing up haha
 
So I called the bank and asked for a loan today. They asked me what it was for? I told them home improvements. LOL just hope they never visit to see the upgrades.

My new daily thought. "Please ensure that my PAL does not encounter any postal workers that may be challenged with reading numbers correctly or letters."
 
Just called in day 48 .pal/rpal Licence app with quebec cfo pending final approval ..... Photo all ready scanned etc . What should I do . No references have been contacted yet ??
 
Day 49 here for RPAL. (Received Jan. 20)

Told today that it was at the Ontario CFO for final approval and to call back in 3 weeks if it hasn't been approved.

Does anyone know their typical approval time?

"Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued. If you have not received your licence within 2 weeks please contact the Canadian Firearms Program Toll Free number."


Updated timeline:

-Took PAL/RPAL test Dec 3rd.
-CFO Stamped test results Dec 29th.
-Recieved test results Jan 9th.
-Mailed out application with picture and test results via registered mail yesterday, Jan 13th.
-Application recieved in Miramichi Jan. 19th.
-Appeared online Feb. 10th.
-Called in Feb. 12th, told it should be about 3 weeks.
-Called in Feb. 19th, told they are backed up, it will probably be 6-8 weeks.
-Called in Feb. 24th, told my information is partially entered, but not yet ready for references to call in.
-Credit card charged Feb. 27th.
-Called in March 3rd, told one reference could call in. Reference duly phoned in.
-Online status changed March 9th - "Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued. If you have not received your licence within 2 weeks please contact the Canadian Firearms Program Toll Free number."

50 days from being recieved in Miramichi to issued status.

Will be interesting to see what happens between both our apps . Same licence , received on the same day . Both with cfo lol ontario vs quebec . ............... where u putting your mony ??
 
day 78, called again and was told to wait but they don't know for how long. Snow goose season will start in 3 weeks. If I miss the season I'll just cancel my app. :(

-Showed up online February 20
-Reference was able to call in today and has done so!

Nothing has changed online as of yet and it has been 2 hours, still states that my application is in progress. Fingers crossed that it gets issued later today.

Don't drive yourself crazy. My references called in a week ago and I'm still in-progress.
