Shorten PAL Approval Times

Online Jan 19, was told Friday it was sent to the CFO, said screw it and called the CFO today, told me it was just assigned to someone this morning, and if I had not recived it within 3 weeks to call them back. When and if you call the CFO use your manners and be very polite with them lol. I shall keep you all posted
 
Ok guys, I'll do a complete timeline once I receive my card. My references phoned in 56 days ago and application was transferred to the CFO. Today I phoned the CFO office and told them I was waiting to apply for a new job that required a PAL and an hour later the status was ISSUED!! Finally after 109 days processing time!!!

Awesome....good to hear you'll be getting your goose after all. I'm mostly interested in restricted stuff. AR-15, hand guns, but I'm also probably getting a mossberg 500 shotty.
 
Well I've been waiting over 3 weeks just for my CFSC to return from Orillia so I can send in my application. I also have my CRFSC class coming up next week . By the sounds of it ( from what I've read) the snow will be back on the ground before I even get to fire a shot at the range!

Send in the application (both PAL and RPAL on the same form), after you pass the CRFSC.
Don't wait for the results to come back from the CFO.

FESO takes about a month to return the course reports. I don't know what they do besides stamping them. Send your application in now to start your waiting period, and fax your course reports when you get them.

March 10, 2015 (at 12pm)46Reference called in and had standard, two minute interview
March 10, 2015 (at 1pm)46Online status changed to license issued
