Hatsan Escort wood furniture question

Has anybody tried to fit a wood stock and fore end to a Hatsan Escort shotgun? I sent a question to Hatsan regarding wood furniture and the Canadian distributor replied with the standard "NO NOT AVAILABLE IN CANADA"

I would love to hear from anyone that has had success fitting a different brand of furniture to a Hatsan OR knows that it can't be done.

I originally was looking for an old-school Win 1300 Defender but they are hard to find in exc shape.

I don't think any wood is compatable with the Escort line.

The term "furniture" dates back to the days of muzzle loaders. It has nothing to do with stocks; wood or synthetic.

In the gun trade, "furniture" meant the small metal parts such as barrel straps, escutcheons, butt plates, etc. Typically, then, furniture was brass or steel.
