Just a heads up that Princess Auto has some pretty cool 105mm ammo crates on sale. 19.99$ Can get 6 or 7 SKS in there perfectly. Although now I really want some 105 rounds

I was there the day after the sale started last week and they had none left. They told me they had 40 more coming and they were already spoken for.
In Winnipeg, Panet Rd was out, but Portage ave had 22 of them.
The crates looked pretty beat up last time I checked.. maybe they don't travel well from Winnipeg
I seen a stack in the south Edmonton store a few weeks ago and they were absolutely filthy dirty, and unsuitable to store anything of value until cleaned up.
Man, I have lugged so many of those... Full of 105mm ammo of course. Picked one up at a sally ann.
Nope, wood boxes where used for the 105mm HESH/PRAC round. The rounds came two per wooden box inside the black cardboard tubes in the picture. We did use the British designed L7 105mm tank gun, AKA M68 in US service, in both the Centurion and Leopard 1 tanks. The 105mm gun was a real stalwart thru the Cold War era and was well proven against Soviet tanks by the Israelis who used them in their Centurion and M48/M60 tanks. The 105mm ammo for the Leopard 1 used to come packed in metal cases, rather than in the wooden crates.
