DD Omega rail on Armalite AR-10?

Picked up an AR-10A carbine a while ago. I figure carbines look better with a quad rail so was looking at a drop in rail. The Armalite Omega rail to be specific. Will these fit on the AR-10? My understanding on the AR-10 uses the same hand guards as a AR-15.

Factory plastic handguard yes. Not on aftermarket rail. Every rail out there has their own barrel nut. And ar10 uses different barrel nut than an ar15.

I get what you are saying, however the Omega rail is not a free float rail, it is a drop in replacement for the standard plastic hand guards. it uses the standard barrel nut and forward handguard ring.

What I was getting at was the omega rail fits into the delta ring the same way standard hand guards do. IE you pull the ring back, and pop the two halves of the hand guards in. So my impression was that they would fit into the AR-10 since they take standard plastic handguards. Unless im missing how these actually mount.
 
You could always e mail DD and ask and get a real answer instead of a maybe. They have always got back to me pretty quick, but the barrel nut on an AR 10 is a different diameter than the ar 15. It is even a different dia. than a dpms .308 ar. The lantern ring may be the same though
 
Delta ring is ever so sightly different that on a loose tolerence a2 handguard it didnt make a different. On a tight tolerence rail like DD. Its anynes guess
