where are those m305 deals at ?

Yeah the EE has some sick deals.

I recently picked up a 2011 Norc 22" barrel in an Archangel stock with a USGI handguard that also came with an AIA 10 round mag and 2 other mags...All for $580.

Reason it was so cheap was because the seller was local and didn't want to ship it and he didn't have EMT. I offered to make a visit and then I was able to bargain him down from $650 (because I only brought $580 with me LOL). The money saved went to a scope mount and now all I need is a decent scope :p
 
Yea, call me paranoid but this isn't a rifle I want all painted, decked out and fiddled with lol.

Im looking for a new, going to replace op rod and spring then shoot 600 and under with it. No optics or crap like that lol. I MAY if I get adventurous paint my own but only when I have a wood stock or more "tactical" one on the way.

Marstar sells bone stock, non painted, non fiddled with rifles dude ;)
Not much for adventurous accessories tho
 
LGS is on point with marstar, has 22 and the shorty for 60 bucks more.

Yea bullet velocities don't matter when your only shooting 300 yards. When I want to go out on my private property I can assure you It will be a bolt action for past 600 yards.

Not a Chinese semi auto that is hardly 3 MOA out of the box haha. Have already sourced op rod and spring, also will get either the wood stock or bed the flimsy plastic. MAYBE do a trigger job.

I believe some posters have said that M305s/M14s from Marstar are of better quality than those sourced elsewhere. And I think johnone has said as much in some of his posts. That's my recollection at least- you may want to do some searches.

Tinker by all means... but you want to have the best possible starting point, no?

ya read that to masters rejected a lot and will not even get the short ones in until they are fixed at factory. You also get extra mag and a box form masters. Epps dose have them for cheaper, which is nice as i can drive there. But that means I can look it over and brig it back if there is a issue.
