Hey guys so I just ordered this set from wolverine the other day and got the thing installed in the rifle and it doesn't work at all. The bolt release doesn't even budge at all and the mag release is so sticky. I lubed em up and nothing. I have a bolt release from Mahal on my other rifle and the thing works mint. I kinda figured for $125 for two little small pieces of metal they wouldn't be this bad. Has any one else ran into these problems. Is my only option to buture these things up to fit or just send them back?

Yeah I ran into issues with my bolt release. Had to finely tune aka file away much to make it properly move with the spring tension. It was just too big on one side for the fit. When I got it to freely move and took it out to use........ the head that holds the bolt back snapped off after maybe 10 shots. Very sad.
On a happy note tho, my mag release is just an Uncle Mike's lever action hammer extension. That works like a dream!

Exactly. That happened after I dealt with them on this specific issue. Send it back and get a refund - if they Ok, since this was buyers fault. Back then they did not mention that limitation on the Web page.

that sucks, I didn't even see that in their ad, I have the mag release working pretty good now, but the bolt release is going to need a little more love, I have it moving but its not just a tap of a finger, you really got jam down on it

I run a bolt release in my vz58. Not sure of manufacturer. Got it on the EE. I use it with the Dlask extended mag release. It moves freely up and down(small amount) when bolt is Ahead. But when bolt is back there is a lot of tension on it from the bolt. It takes quite a push to release. It does work much easier though with a loaded mag inserted. But bit more than just the tap of a finger though.

I've had MAJOR issues with mine. The pin that's is pressed into the body of the release separated apart and caused the pin to free float. Obviously this rendered the switch inoperable even causing the bolt catch to remain open.

Big problem. I've since tried JB weld to re attach , didn't work. Currently I'm trying red lock tight. Have to range test to see if it fixes the problem

Mine didn't budge after i installed it either. it was a CSA 858 though. I essentially had to wear all of the finish off of the post that protrudes into the receiver to stop the bolt.
i didn't feel like filing it so i just lubed it and manually actuated it with my hand for probably a couple hours while i was watching a movie lol. Its now in the white, but moves freely. but like the OP said, it takes some force, when the bolt is putting pressure on it.
Can't comment on the mag release though.
