Hello folks.
I just opened up my loading port to my Mossberg 930 and today I put a few boxes through it and it ran with no problems. During the last box though I noticed some nice cuts to my thumb and other fingers on my strong hand. I was practicing double loads.
On inspection I noticed that my carrier latch pin had rotated. So instead of a smooth surface I have a nice finger shredder. My question is; can I rotate it back and use something like JBWeld to make sure it doesn't rotate? Or any other suggestion?
Also, when the last shot has been fired the bolt is locked back (given), but the carrier is locked in the down position, I can't go straight to loading the magazine. Do people load a shell into the open receiver, put the bolt forward and then do their loads (2X or Quads)???
Thanks for the input guys, It's my first semi shotty and I am use to the Remmy 870 and Mossy 500.
