Hi, im just wondering if I have to worry about a hole on my sks gas tube. It still shoots perfect, but noticed that it might have gotten a bit bigger over the past year. Thanks

Forget you ever seen it. There needs to be a hole/vent on each side of the gas piston as to not create vacuum or pressure. That side of the piston is gas-free.

Some have that some don't. It is caused by the production method used in manufacture. It does not affect operation at all. I have seen many with and without that hole.

Thanks guys for all your posts. My other sks doesn't have the hole, so I was a little curious. Both shoot AMAZING. Thanks again
