Pistol & Revolver Case - Princess Auto Delivers

I looked at a friends Pellican case and I don't see an ounce of difference in quality between the two cases. The larger 22" case, is well, just large amd will be my travel case but for range use the 16" case looks like the ticket.

Sorry, but I own the PA 22" case and a Pelican 1610. I use the Pelican to store and transport a few thousand dollars worth of camera gear. There is NO way I would ever trust the PA case to do that. It is clearly not even close when it comes to quality of materials and construction. One of my latches already fell off as the retaining pin just dropped out. I have had to glue it back in place. For the $40 or so that I paid for it, it is just fine. But a Pelican it is not.
 
The Pelican has fibre and a slightly different plastic that makes it a stronger, less pliable case. There is no doubt it is a stronger case, but they both will work well for rough handling in a typical shipping scenario. Whether you need to drive a small car over it to call one better or has greater value, is a matter of opinion. Now as the case size increases, Pelican wins hands down!
 
Princess auto ottawa still had a bunch. I couldn't decide if I want to put two pistols and mags in it or four pistols so I bought two cases. Problem solved. Anyone know where I can buy or order replacement foam for these or other cases?
 
I bought the PA about a year ago. It works well.

After reading this thread I slipped by the local Princess Auto this am & scored the last one of these they had on the shelf.

They will refund the difference, period. Princess Auto's return policy is second to none. I have two buddies who work there, and the stories I hear about #### people return and get full credit for is ridiculous. 4 year old pressure washer they haven't stocked in 3 years - Sure, full refund. Product you said you bought here, but we can't find in the computer and you have no reciept? Heres some store credit.... Some of their #### may be crappy but they stand behind all of it.
 
Agree with Suther...their warranty is amazing. i've broke back air tools b4 that have failed working (maybe due to me being too rough with them hehe) and no hassle they exchange it! amazing
