Good day all, pleasure to join and be on here. New to shooting and excited to start.

I welcome feedback on two things:
Marlin 795 vs...? Ruger VLEH looks awesome but pretty expensive for first 22lr. Or Savage?

Looking at reasonable price point for first but I want quality and accuracy.

Second: clubs around the Barrie area that are accepting new members?

Welcome to CGN, I think Barrie Gun Club is taking new members. But they might be backed up 4-6 months right now.
 
Hi welcome CGN, go with the Savage they have a good assortment of rim fire rifles with great accuracy. Look at the Savage website to see if there is 1 in your price range.

I'm checking the mail everyday waiting for my PAL to arrive.

Already got some gear for my first 22lr. Just not the rifle.

"Keep your sight in sight". How's that for a tag line? Haha.
