Anyone thought of doing a 3D printed extended mag follower like the sigpower ones? I have a few extended mag followers for my .22 conversion magazines from sigpower.com who is not in business anymore and they work great. They don't lock the slide back using the slide catch notch in the slide but hold the slide open by keeping the slide back with the extended follower. The reason I like this idea is the .22 conversion kit I recently bought off the EE has a worn slide stop notch on the slide and it seems the slide catch just rides out. The issue is the steel slide catch and the aluminum slide.

If you were to switch to factory mags and forgo the hold open feature would you still worry about the slide? Just curious as I ordered a Classic 22 and am thinking about aftermarket mags.

Please let me know as soon as you one to sell. I'll take them. I feel the extended follower is the way to go. My notch in the slide that the slide catch goes into is worn so much that the slide catch won't grab it. The sigpower extended followers lock the slide open by essentially jamming in between the breech face. I was told the wear is normal however I don't believe that for a moment.

it would be nice if someone could 3D print an extended follower or machine some out of aluminum. I'd be all over buying some of those. I have a couple GS Design magazines and most of them work to lock the slide back but they use the slide catch and I don't want the wear.

I made these just for you! :d

It's not fine print. It's on my homepage literally right at the very top. EMT is also listed clearly in CAD at checkout. I'm not trying to "jack" anyone.

The only reason I have (FRAUD ALERT) as an option on the website is because the U.S. customers needed a way to pay. The website builder I used is American, (FRAUD ALERT) defaults to bill in USD and I can't change it. Thus the warning at the very top of my homepage.

The easy way would have been to just only accept (FRAUD ALERT) and charge everyone in USD, especially for accounting purposes. Of course, you can never please everybody.

I'll be looking into a new webstore builder when my current payment period ends.

Yeah but if a guy follows the link posted to a product he wants, (posted by you) puts it in the cart and purchases it, the warning on your homepage isn't really effective.
I didn't say you're trying to jack anybody. I'm just saying your current set up isn't the friendliest. Great products will still sell. Maybe you could have a discount code to drop the American price down for canadian customers if you can't get (FRAUD ALERT) to accept CDN.
EMT is fine but it requires a lot more work, plus a fee to send it.
Just sayin.
