Shoot awesome in my cz 452. Love those on gophers. I have half a pack of fed bulk that shoots like crap in my cz (1-2" at 50 yards).

Ive shot a few thousand rounds of it and hevent had any issues. Perhaps the odd FTF but nothing serious. No cycling problems either. Reasonable accuracy.
i've got a chiappa M9-22 replica pistol and the winchester 333's are it's main diet. cycles every single one without flaw. of course, it did take alot of work to the pistol itself to get it cycling anything as it was a dysfunctional POS when i bought it. actually had the weld the chamber closed and recut it cause the chamber where the rifling starts was larger then the chamber face. failed to eject and had to pry the case out every time with any ammo when received. i even fired a box of CCI quiets through it and it works but fails to feed to often because the slide doesn't come back far enough. for a replica .22 pistol i am impressed with it after the work i did. if it'll cycle through a .22 pistol it should cycle through anything. unless of course it's a semi auto with a tight match grade chamber.
They used to be a staple for me. I've found the quality seems to have suffered a bit in the last couple batches. I've found a fair amount with loose bullets and those would cause ftfs. Shoots ok though. Good for plinking. I still buy them though when I find them.
Between Federal, Winchester, and Remington bulk ammo, I'm not finding any difference in reliability with any of the three in my bolt guns or seme-autos.
When I'm benching for groups, Remington tends to have the tightest groups, followed by Federal, and the Winchester is more like a shotgun pattern at 25 yards than an actual group.
The pic below was at 25 yards with my Cooey. Didn't have any Federals with me that day, but the Winchester results were... About what I expected. I wrote "wildcat" on the target, because I'm pretty sure the Winchester bulk hollowpoints (in the 222 packs or 333) are based off the old wildcat bullets and cartridges (the shape of the projectile looks about right).

There are loose bullets in pretty much all batches of .22lr from all manufacturers. Winchester, Remington, Federal, even CCI. I've got packs of Rem, Win and CCi right now that the bullet spins 360 degrees freely.

i'm calling BS. if it was true that ammo must have been old or a bad batch. i just fired off 2 boxes of 333 this morning. out of 666 all 666 fired and that's only counting today. i don't even remember the last fail i had with the 333 winchesters and that's all i've been shooting for the last 6 months as that's all that's affordable near me. other then that i've been shooting wildcats as well and never have a fail with them either. i have way more non fire issues with the remy thunderbolt then any winchester and even then i don't recall ever having 9 fail out of a whole brick let alone 333. of course they all have a no fire condition once in a while. where's the second strike? what do you like? seems all the posts i see you make you always have something negative to say about anything so lets here it. what do you like?
I run them through my semi's and bolt's and they feed with no problems. Expansion is consistant and non agressive. I average about 1 dud in 60 which is to be expected for $16 a box at our local Walmart. I bought 2 boxes and when I went back the following week. They were all gone.
They work great in my marlin bolt (880ss). Never had a FTF. Hit fairly hard and consistant out to 50 yards or so...great bulk round considering the price. Been using them for last couple of years for small game hunting, They seem to be as effective as mini-mags and velocitors when it comes to rabbits, grouse and other small game at 150 feet...way cheaper too.
On the bench at 100 yards mini-mags shoot/group way way better, but the 333/555 bulk rounds work very good for my needs.
