Cha-ching! Lol

Im using an lmt enhanced bolt

Where did you get one of those ?

$520 is not bad when you consider what it could cost to import one.

NEA has just started this. Just dipping their feet in.
I would put money on more lengths being available in the future if they see the demand is there.

We jsut have to make sure to show them some demand. Which is one reason I'm going to buy one of these even tho it's not exactly what I'm looking for.
I know I can make good use of it, and at least it's not a 16". Usually they're always a 16".

Bare one thing in mind with your custom order.
7.62x39 yields less gas pressure to the gas port than 5.56. If 18" mids are uncommon in x39, there might a reason.
Depending on the piston you bought, I'm willing to bet it won't cycle until you do some modifications.

I know with my CMMG piston on my 16" Carbine x39, it was made for 5.56, and when I put it on my x39 barrel it did not cycle at all at all.
I had to meet up with a buddie to use his drill press, and I had to borrow some special sized drill bits from another, to slowly open up the port on my piston kit to get my rifle running.

YOu should prepare yourself to have to do something similar.

Pm me and ill tell you.

I thought about that but im up for the challenge
I have tons of experience with that round and its gas pressure

Just cant wait to start building

....520 for only the barrel...or 800 for upper??

I bought a brand new AR15 in 7.62x39 16" bbl with $850. from ON Canadian dealer and till now I shot 3K rounds of surplus ammo without a hick-up, not a single malfunction or problem like FTL or FTE, very accurate at 100 and 200 (max on my range)
In all 3K rounds I had only 8-9 dummy surplus Czech rounds that do not ignite...that's all!

The problem is I need a barrel with a mid length gas system.
I have a adams arms mid length piston kit just sitting here, I want to use it.
I just want to build my own, with all the stuff I want on it. Not just buy one and
Replace everything I didnt want.

Plus nea only sells 14.5 barrels from what chemist me..
I got an email from nea todays saying they dont even make barrels in 76.2x39
Anymore. Sounded pretty stunned.
