We used to use Lubriplate for engine assembly. You might try a bumper to bumper, Napa or Acklands

The mil spec Lubriplate is 130-A. I believe that one is an engine assembly lube.

105 is the Lubriplate engine assembly lube. It is a NLGI grade 0 grease, which means it has a fairly soft consistency compared to most greases (grade 2) or 130-A (grade 2.5).

Lubriplate makes a lot of different lubricants.

I use Militec gun grease, really good stuff.
