Hey fellas,

I'm looking at colouring up a 14" HP9 in the future (Ceracoat, Aervoe, Duracoat...etc). I've got a few ideas for colour schemes but could use your input. The purpose of the colour is 50% aesthetics and 50% silhouette breakup. The furniture will be an SGA stock and Hogue forend.

The ideas are: Green (metal)/Black, Green (metal)/Tan, Brown (metal)/Black, Brown (metal)/Tan

Black of course would be the most cost effective. Then again...so would keeping it as is. :dancingbanana:

Can't find one...which kind of makes me want to try it!

Annnnnnnnnd Go!

Wood and tan or OD would look awesome! I like your style!!!

However, I prefer the function of a shorter lop.

Black and brown is starting to feel pretty tempting. Easy to get black parts, it's the reverse of oem and it might just look like I'm carrying a stick...lol

I don't dig green painted shotguns at all myself. It always looks unnatural IMO.
Stealth or Slate Gray metal and tan or FDE furniture would be my pick.

If you'd like a shorter LOP why not cut down the existing wood? That way you can make it the exact length that you want it.

I like it the way it is myself, maybe cut the fore end down to police length.
