MagPul Ranger plates

I just installed Ranger plates on my LAR 15 mags.

The 10th rd was tough to load and the first time I inserted a mag with the bolt closed, it required a firm seat to lock in place. Pulling back and releasing the charging handle failed to strip off and seat a round.

I presume that this is due to the extra material on the ranger plate base that the grip handle locks into. Anyone else have this as a problem?

Yep, common issue. Take a little material off the follower legs and reassemble. Careful not to take too much material off though...you don't want them to hold an 11th round.

I just installed them as well. Take aboot 0.100" max off and you will be good to go

Yeah. I just had to order a couple bags of replacement Magpul followers. Don't take too much material off.
