My old 7.5" posted waaaaaaay back in this thread ran beautifully after I selected lightweight components. It was a little undergassed so I weighed the bolts, carriers, and buffers in my inventory and selected the lightest combination. After this the gun ran very well.

I actually came to dig this thread up for another purpose - I'm looking to do another 7.5" build and I'm looking for a 7.5" barrel in 5.56. Where is everyone getting theirs? Currently I'm only able to find Aero barrels from Saskatoon Gunworks, but I want to make sure I'm aware of all my options before ordering. Credit card standing by.
 
Here's mine! Daniel Defense MK18 upper sitting on a PWS Lower. With a 10.3" barrel, its a little long for a PDW, but I love this thing!

Upgrades include:
- Phase5 Battle latch charging handle and Battery assist lever
- Aimpoint PRO and Insight (EOTech) M6X LED
- Magpul PRO BUIS
- Daniel Defense FDE ladder rail covers for some colour
