I hadn't shot my old Anschutz (CIL) Model 180 in a few years so I figured I'd take it out and clean it up. I pushed a .22 bore brush through it and it went trough extremely easily, (a .243 brush actually went through without much effort) this bush goes through my 10/22 barrel a lot harder. So I decided to try and push a bullet down and see how loose it was, I pulled a Winchester Super X bullet and pushed it down with a cleaning rod and it slipped right through, not even the smallest mark of rifling on it when it came out. I then pulled an SK Standard bullet and pushed it through and that one took more force (but still very easy) and came out with rifling marks and measured .220. So my question is what is the normal bore size for a .22lr? I've never shot the Winchester Super X in that rifle but I'm guessing they wouldn't shoot too good since they don't even touch the rifling. When pushing the SK Standard bullet through, there was a little resistance in the first 4-5" then it pushed way easier. Is my barrel no good??
