DA50 .50BMG upper!!!???

We can shoot 50BMG at our range but there are far more Crown Land areas to shoot BMG than ranges that allow it, which is why non restricted is preferred. I'm eagerly waiting for more info and to see if there is a NR workaround. :)

Can we be safe to assume these will fit on the Norc CQ AR lower?

Will the shooting edge in Calgary allow 50 bmg? A NR lower would be the cats anus!!!!

Very cool if NR and proven.

I am leery about a cheap (cheap manufacturing leads to cheap prices) .50BMG.

Assuming it is safe, and inexpensive, it would be cool. But having seen enough videos of .50 out of battery detonation, and chamber breaches, I would be nervous.

Can't exactly get an out of battery detonation with a single shot. So that's one factor gone.

Canada ammo would not release an unsafe product.

There have been plenty of out of battery discharges with single shots... I believe there is a vulcan .50 single shot video around here somewhere.
I am sure Canada Ammo would be careful, but unless a system is widely tested, you just don't know.

found it

Or there is a Barret with a catastrophic failure

There is even another company that had a .50 AR upper that had an issue and detonated. ALS (the manufacturer of the one that failed)
asked any owners to "suspend use of their upper" until a fix could be found.

I am only saying that a .50 BMG is ridiculously powerful, and I don't like the idea of buying a cheap one.

And Yes I have shot a number of .50 rifles and MGs.

If the rifle is proven, and safe, I would love you buy one for under $2000.
