I can see you smiling... Here is my story. I bought a barska sniper scope 6x24x50 AC11672 a year ago. Limited lifetime warranty. So I was like it has turrets and dirt cheap for 120 shipped. I tried it with good results but after a year and 1000 308 rounds later, the crosshair got crooked. Even if they say that there is dealers in Canada, there isn't. I called in the states and they told me they can't ship scopes to Canada. I was pissed... But at the end of the day you get what you paid for.

The Barska has served you well, sadly that's it. If it had been a Bushnell at least they are here in Canada and would have looked after you. Put the Barska on the shelf, save for a Nightforce, or Sightron, or whatever floats your boat with a higher level of quality/longevity.

Then practice shooting out the lenses of the Barska, it has served you well, it deserves a fitting send off.

Have you tried checking with China, where it's made? BTW, are you sure the crosshairs are actually crooked? I sent a brand new Bushnell back for crooked crosshairs. They sent me another scope, same thing. Then I realized I had gotten new glasses with smaller lenses, and they are progressives. Nothing wring with the scopes, it was the glasses distorting stuff. Got a pair of single vision glasses just for hunting/shooting and, no more issues. If you do try that, just make sure you always have your progressives, because you don't realize how cruddy your eyesight is until you try to read the info on your tag, or put laces through eyelets, etc.
