PSA: Le Baron Mississauga has 22lr and 9mm

Just went to pick up powder they had on hold for me.

They have 1000 round bulk pack of 9mm for $287.45



Even though i reload for 9mm i still picked up some of it, eh, how can i say no?

They also have Winchester 222 packs for 14.xx. LOL, if i remember correctly those used to be 333, and 555 before that. I specifically remember buying 333's at Walmart two years ago for 13.xx.

Let us know how that 9mm works. I bought UMC before in .223 and it was the worst performing ammo (grouping wise) I have tried to date in my AR (Barnaul, Winchester White Box, PMC, etc). Due to this, I ended up getting Centaure reloads from Tradex for $299 shipped. Also kind of nice that the company is Canadian.

I shot that umc before. It generally worked fine but I remember that I had at least two duds

A weaker dollar really has an impact on ammo prices. About $25 bucks more than last year.

I've used the UMC 9mm and the Winchester Bulk Target 9mm (100 rds / carton) in my 92FS and the Winchester is much better ...

No need to lol.

The Winchester 333 and 555 round packs are still being produced. The Lebaron in Markham had the 333's a couple weeks ago.

I've even seen them in 235 round packs.

Im laughing at the price. Went through the ammo stash yesterday and found 555 packs for 20.xx from Lebarons. Bought last year.

So 222 at 14.74 vs 555 at 20.xx. One year difference.

i bought a 333 for 14.95 last week at montreal lebaron they had 555 22lr as well for 24.95

I see lots of "bump" posts in the future of that sale.

In seriousness i went through my gun room and found 555 boxes of same ammo i bought early 2014 for 20.xx from lebarons.

At 222 for 14.74 a 555 pack would now be 36.84 dollars that is a major jump in price.

Im just glad i bought lots over the course of 2013 that im in no need to buy any ammo during this trifecta of Canadian gouging, ####ty dollar value and perceived shortage.

I was there last night grabbed some 9mm I was surprised that they put a 2 box limit on the 22. I was able to grab some 22 from Al' Flaherty's at some what decent price .
