SS stamp on sling is fake, keeper is post war.

When I was just starting in 98k collecting I bought an almost identical sling from a more "advanced" collector in Ontario I think. Than I embarrassed myself by having a leading expert assess it. He explained to me that the combination of markings are not only fake, but make no sense whatsoever. It now resides on a "restored" ss rifle. I will never pass it off as original because I do my research and I'm not a dirtbag. Thanks for pointing it out Andrew.
