I have the same gun and the CG63 in 6.5x55 They are bot cheap to shoot. Best thing is to make your own. That's what I did. The 7.5 brass I got from Trade EX The projectile is 308

Roll your own, best way to always ensure you have ammo for the less then common chamberings, plus it's much cheaper, and more accurate.

At roughly 60 cents a round, shoot the GP11 while it is still available. You can't reload for that price and quality.
Save your reloads for when it is all gone.

I would respectfully opine that you are going to have to use some very special bullets to replicate the superb characteristics of GP11. milprileb over on gunboards.com seems to have done it, but only by using premium grade and price bullets that actually end up more costy than GP11.

Yeah ^^^ Shooters like us are spoiled with the GP11 we use. But if you want to plink in an arbitrary fashion than I would feel much better doing that with home rolled brass.

Out to 300m, my handloads with Varget, neck sized Winchester .284 brass, and 150gr Hornady fmj shoot better in my rifle then GP11 does. Works out to about 44 cents a round.
If I was shooting long range, 600m+ I'd give GP11 the nod. It's good ammo for sure, but the bullets really are designed for long range shooting. Someday I'm going to get one of my long heavy barrel .308's rechambered for 7.5x55 and try it exclusively at long range.
