Grand Power 22lr Pistol

No worries it's pretty easy and fun once you figure it out...... you should try taking pictures with out the flash on your camera.
Use natural light of some other even light source if you can.... :)

I did a tune up on my Gen 1 magazines and the last range trip was flawless feeding and extraction with the Basic K22 and bulk federal.
Shot 150 rounds and had one that didn't ignite but a second double action trigger pull ignited the round.

Fun gun.

What mods did you make? I posted pics of my mags and they appear to be gen 2 but still thefeed issues. Was thinking of machining a new follower with a steeper ramp angle.

I took the mags apart and without spring tension the follower would not freely travel it's path. I smoothed out some high spots in the area where the spring runs with an appropriate sized drill bit by hand ( can't recall the size right now) and also adjusted the corner of the tab that activates the slide lock. It's a a square tab that runs in the mag in an area that is radius ed so I broke the square corner a bit with a file to free it up.

Once I got the follower free of sticktion I also had to do some work on the ridges that run parallel to the area the spring sits as they were binding the button that you use to take spring pressure off when loading.

It's possible your gen 2 does not have these problems but it's easy to check.

I then changed the follower angle on 2 of my 4 magazines as a test but I did not notice any difference between the steeper follower and the other 2 that I left stock.

The spring that I am using in the gun itself is a bit bigger then the stop at the end of the guide rod and when I insert the spring over the guide rod it goes on deep and actually stays in place locked over top of the stop. Another spring I have does not slide over and comes to a stop against the stop.

I figure the bigger spring is a bit softer due to the fact that it is less compressed then the smaller diameter spring but that's just a theory.... :)

the k22 mags that dont have the GP logo had mold dimension issues. the newer magazines that have the GP logo have no issues.
