Been kinda regretting selling my old model Ruger Single Six a couple years ago, and have kinda been looking around for another. Looked @ a pretty clean Colt Frontier Scout today and thought it would fill the void in my soul, plus being a Colt, possibly a better investment. What say you?

I regret trading my old model Single Six as well and still haven't filled the 22LR void but I picked up a Pietta 1873 in 44-40 and this has helped ease the pain.
If you can handle the Colt and it feels good I say go for it, it will retain its value as much as an old Ruger.

as much as i like nice old looking stuff like that you can get or replace the single six front with a Fiber Optic which is nice for my old eyes.

but there is something to say for that shiny colt!

Yeh, Colt. These are proven to be good investments, quality and resale wise. I had a ruger single six though, still a great gun.

No comparison between the two. If you can find a nickel plated colt go for it. Especially if it has both cylinders. I do also regret selling my stainless Ruger but... it's life. Friend of mine has a colt .22 mag and it's gorgeous but not for sale. I have been looking for a ..22lr cylinder for him but no such luck. And for me... I'd buy that gun in a second if I could.
