Yup!! Watch a youTube video on how it functions... The cylinder actually gets pushed forward so the end of the casing forms a gas seal with the chamber. It is one of the only revolvers you actually could effectively use a suppressor on if it was threaded to accept it.

Absolute ABOMINATION, but I'll never sell mine as it is a key component of my WWII collection.
 
The SA action trigger pull of the Desert Eagle is either a hit or miss. Some of them have a fantastic trigger, in other case, it's very average. Mine got a 3 stage trigger lol.

I got a good one, my DE 44 Mag have a spendid trigger with a short reset, quite pleasant to shoot... JP.
 
I love my 4.5 lb SA Sig triggers... nothing else compares to it, for me. SRT is even better. Even the 10 lb DA trigger is smooth and has a clean break. Every aspect of a Sig Sauer pistol works for me.

A bad trigger messes up my shooting, don't need that headache.

Nor do my short stubby fingers seem to get much mechanical advantage compared to my shooting partner's long ones, even with her long nails. So much for my masculine superiority! She shoots better groups than me too.

At least we had perfect scores and only 1 more shoot to become full members.

Have NY1 trigger Glock22 and sure its pretty stiff, but one can get accurate and relatively fast with practice. The M&P9 stock trigger is just brutal though, I can't do anything with that as much as I may have tried.

I will try and explain this so you can understand it.

They are trying to make it as safe as possible for people like yourself.

Do you think for a minute that these people have nothing better to do then waste there time teaching people how to use a gun safely all the time they are on the range?

Take a close look at other people that are on your range and how they act when they have a gun in there hands. Also look at the damage that gets done at the average range and then try and convince everyone that every person should be allowed to shoot anything they want to or to do it anywhere they want to.

All these rules are put in place to make it safer for everyone and that means you as well.

Just my two cents worth.

4 pages and no-one brought up a Luger? I've handled one that was a typical 2 stage ( thanks Smellie ) and was OK, but mine sucks pretty badly. Absolutely mush; but then again...not a deal breaker, it's a Luger!
Should be a picture of a Luger when you look up the definition of Panache.

Not my experience with this example and my artillery model. Neither are light but both fairly crisp and certainly no where close to the worst triggers i've experienced. wonder if there is some tweaking that could be done to yours.

my latest aquisition on the other hand, has a notoriously heavy and long trigger (many say it is actually the worst) but it is just so damn unique and cool from a design and historical perspective. can't wait for the transfer to be approved.

You have no idea about my range. It is perfectly safe without nannies overseeing or "qualifying" members.

I realize the cfo is placing silly restrictions on some ranges down east. By the sound of it you (greydog) would welcome this with open arms at your range..
