WTAF? Buy a Norinco and spend as much $ on "cool looking ####"?

Put that cash on ammo instead.

The black rifle forum is lost.

Leaning towards the Smith & Wesson M&P15 sport. $830 with a proven name!!!!??
maximum $1200 maybe a bit extra for the tax

Troll much? First post on the day you join is this? you hammered a buis on and now want them to warranty it?

Not trolling at all. Like I said I came across so many 'positive reviews' elsewhere I was surprised when I found this thread. Ill keep my stories to myself next time I guess if im just gonna get hammered by someone who wants to backseat judge about my own experience with a company. FYI Its a plastic based sight. Goes without explanation... Plastic is obv. the weaker of the two materials and the BUS went on with some force as the plactic gave.. I don't see why asking them to refund a rifle with a not to spec rail would be a career ender.

Should I go start by making some non contributory adage to some other part of the forum first before I get enough street credit to comment about a rifle I bought with issues? ..

Sheesh.

Its hereeeeee, a little teaser for all of you,

Where's the lower?

it doesn't come with a lower. I'm in the market for a used DD,Colt Lower so i can slap the upper on it but for now it will sit on my PWS lower until I decide what im going to do with it.Also I'm looking to get a Troy PDW kit for it.

FWIW....
I bought a gen 3 18" DMR.It shoots very accurately.
It has had a new bolt carrier due to the old one shearing a gas key screw.
The dealer replaced it without fuss.
The charging handle has worn off the anodising on one side.
Apart from that,it has performed perfectly well.
It cost $1700 NZD which at the time was the cheapest new AR for sale.Even cheaper than a Norc.
We are not deluged with ARs in NZ,so I got the best deal I could at the time.
I'm happy to use it for 3gun and its nailed a few goats.

And people still buy them.. I don't care how good the warranty is, I'm not interested.

I'm with you on this. Too many failures as opposed to success stories with this company in my opinion. Good on NEA for making it right, but I've had a lacklustre experience with NEAs product in my past, and I've moved on to other companies.
