Yes I know that, I keep them at col. I've only increased .3 and am still under max. I just not sure if the Plated bullet will change the variables much, over the lead bullets.Starting load is fine and the Hodgdon site is a good place to go. I would try to cross reference the start load data from other sources to be extra careful but Hodgdon should be fine.
I use 5.3 grains of CFE under a 124 gn Campro plated RNFB (COL 1.15") in a Glock 17 with good success.
I would make sure that the COL is not shorter than that listed if you increase your loads to near max. I'm sure you know that pressure increases as COL decreases.
