cool animals.. I had some experience with them on a photography trip near Cambridge Bay years ago.

How does the meat taste?

A lot like beef . Sometimes a bit more gristle. Very good! Those two record bulls are very impressive!

Kid said if he ever does it again it will be with bow and arrow, he shot it at 50 ft I guess. I took mine with pointy sticks at about the same distance, but learned a rude lesson about mechanical broad heads and heavily haired critters !!!!!

#1 son scored him (he's an official B&C and P&Y scorer) and said he came out right around 115", better than he looks, although not long he has amazing mass apparently. A good ox anyway, better than mine, little pr!ck..........

I found them to taste more like mutton. Better than most buffalo I've eaten.
