Since they aren't good for anything in the summer use anything you can hit them with. My two current favorite loads are the 100 grain ballistic tip over 68 grains of IMR 4831, and the 80 grain TTSX over 74 grains of old style 7828. You might want to approach that second one in particular with a bit of caution. There's not a lot of data around for that bullet, but I've got it trucking along at 3950 fps. Neither are going to save any pelts, and both will kill any deer you point them at.

I'd start lower than that.

75 grain V-max over 69.3 grains of H414 in Hornady Brass and a Match Fed Mag Rifle. I've cronies at just over 4000 in my Blaser R93. But warning, if you hit under 100, you will gut, skin and fillet the coyote in 1 step. It's ugly.
