I have to present an apology to a competitor: Blou32 officially won the"Mire métallique" category. Unfortunately, with the confusion caused by the rain and damped sheets, his score has been calculated in the "optic" category. To fix this i have decided to give two gold medal for that category.

Another fantastic, organized and extremely well run CQB match...The ORA CQB guys would be impressed.
I was really happy to see so many come out - 58 shooters!
I'm looking forward to the next one :)
 
looks like everyone had a lot of fun! congrats on a great day! why prone was done on the weak side? i thought the idea was to somewhat represent shooting from "under vehicle" scenario and must be on the strong side, also doesn't require special setup as no barricades needed.

First, modified prone can be done on either side with either shouder, situation dictates.

Second, it is for practical reasons, since our ground is not made of fluffy grass but 3/4 gravel instead, i do not want shooters to ruin their pistols on the ground. the barricade is there to raise the challenge since the shooters cannot see their targets before the whisle.

thank you! looks like scoring done differently too.. can you please explain.. in Ontario maximum score is 550. do you shoot more rounds / stages?
 
An outstanding organization, managed like clockwork, wet and cold in the end and yet, most fun one could have with clothes on. Was quite pleasant to see shooters smiling from ear to the other.
Bravo Zulo Memnoch for such a professional job and damned fun day!
