What to buy

I've had revolvers but no semis . Best to look at 9mm or .40 cals? What make is good for a starter? Had a Ruger Security Six in .357 and a .44 BP Army

9mm will be a little cheaper to feed. That being said, I love my Glock 22. Pretty hard to go wrong. Maybe look at M&Ps, lots of guys love them and they are really affordable.

Girsan regard ( beretta clone) gives you a great gun and money to spare.

Glock 17 or a CZ 75 in 9mm should be close to you budget. Try to handle a few and see which one's for you.

Take a look at the 9 mm Jericho IWI range kit, right around 600 bucks if you look for one and a great gun, or the M&P 9mm range kit I haven't shot one of these but hear they are good.

Yeah M&P 9 range kit will be around 660-680 but if that's too much a ruger SR9 will be 450-500 depending if you want black or the stainless slide...and there's always EE for a better price on something used...happy shopping!

I'd look at the EE for a used 92 . You should be able to find one with two or more mags for that .
