IPSC Ontario Shotgun Provincials

Hello Cchaddock,

I have a few questions, hope you can help.
1- Is it possible to come as a spectator? Is there a ticket? Can you bring a lunch and water(I'm on a strict medication schedule), or do you have to buy from concessions?
2- What time should a spectator arrive and leave? I'm guessing it is a good idea to bring ear and eye protection?
3- Anything else I am missing out?

Thanks,
Amol

I'll answer what I can, I'm not affiliated with running the match however, just shot a couple of these before.

1. Yes, you can spectate. No need for a ticket. I would think it's ok to bring your own food.
2. Agenda is here: http://www.mbox.on.ca/provincials/agenda.htm, yes bring eyes and ears.
3. Runs rain or shine, so bring clothing for the weather.

Thanks! The link doesn't show the date(s), any idea?

We are so close to this event, 5 more sleeps until the first shot. Lots of good things going on, we have a model 88 Maverick 12 gauge 3 inch pump with case as a door prize. If you haven't had the pleasure of shooting Crumlin's 5-stand field, it's a shooting experience no shooter should miss. We have 9 traps throwing targets from behind, left to right, coming right at you, 110 feet straight up int the air and a rabbit. There will be 5 shooters on the firing line, loaded to mag capacity. There will be a constant barrage of clay targets thrown from everywhere until all shooters are empty. After your mag is empty, you load up and do it again. 25 shots for $10.00, it's awesome, just ask 7.62. BTW did I mention everyone shoots at the same time ?? New twist on Annie Oakley. Bring extra shells, this will happen for an hour after the last shot is fired. After there are no more shells to be shot, we will start the awards ceremony.

Spots still available (11), don't miss out on this one.

Also, there is camping on site if someone so desires....there is going to be a bit of an after party on Saturday night after the match, as well as a meeting for the shooters going to Italy for the World shoot.

And yes the Flury of targets at the 5 Stand Field is AWESOME!

Im looking forward of meeting the Ontario Shotgunners and learn from them, this is my only 2nd match after 14 yrs, first was at Silverdale 2 weeks,
