my M&P22 broke today :(

so i was at the range today with a buddy of mine and we were shooting my M&P22 when the slide locked back and its stuck now. the gun was cleaned prior to going to the range and only had about 150 rounds through it. the slide stop moves but does not release the slide and i cannot see inside to tell what could possibly be causing it. any ideas on what i should do?
 
i was having all sorts of issues with the last 30-40 rounds of remington golden's before the ejector bent. lots of FTF and FTE. i just did a detail strip of the slide and gave it a good cleaning. its my first time doing it after shooting over 5000 rounds with this gun (oops!). last week i had no issues with the same ammo after shooting 250 rounds of it so i suspect that a dirty gun was the culprit.

Yeah those pistoles are impressive. I have shot a good 1.5 through it without cleaning before. Works like a boss.
