Heres another option. Get a clamp on muzzle break made to fit your barrel. My friend made one for his 870, looks mean and works well. Barrel would remain un touched, you still can redirect the sound at the added weight will be at the end of the barrel. How no idea what this would cost you to get done by a shop, but its an option.

OMG, This thread is hilarious. The OP asks a very specific question about WHERE to get his barrels ported and we have spent 20 odd posts trying to convince him NOT TO PORT his barrels despite him re-affirming that he won't be talked out of it.

As long as he's not ruining a nice old SxS I say "have at it, OP"!

All I know is I won't be hunting with him. Haha!

I live in Alberta, so I certainly don't need to go to Ontario to find a good hunt.
