Transfer of firearms at CFC- your experience?

Transfers are relatively quick. Reg certs, not so much, lately. Been waiting on a reg cert for a little over two weeks now. Irritating.

Jealous of your 1 day transfers. My last one took 3 weeks. On week two of a transfer currently. How is the Ontario CFO consistently 20x slower than the BC/Alberta CFOs?

2 weeks and counting in Ontario. Pistol person to person transfer, it was approved right away but nothing in the mail. This is my 3rd or 4th person to person, they were a LOT faster last year.

Still, nowhere near as hard as waiting on my RPAL was :)

Don't wait fpr the mail, phone your CFO and get them to email you a copy.

I find its getting the damn registration certificate that is the wait. I had a transfer approved on the 26th of march. Still yet to receive the registration.

Same here, first restricted took 5 days for the transfer to be approved, which included me emailing them proof of my range membership. Transfer was approved March 23rd, still waiting on registration certificate...

I'm in the same boat. Transfer confirmation received in late March. I just got off the phone with Miramichi and she told me Ottawa held up printing any registration certificates around the C19 decision. Nothing was printed March 28 - April 12th. She was able to say that it was marked printed and should be on its way.

Registration certificate arrived today for a transfer completed a month ago. Finally.

Likewise.
I called about it yesterday, and was told that they had to go through a whole pile that were ready to be mailed out, by hand, to sort out and trash the ones going to Quebec that were issued for non restricted.
