870 Traps are nice guns. They point well, crush targets well and will generally last many thousands of rounds before needing a few minor repairs but I personally find them a bit light in weight for my preference.

My wife has owned one for over a year now and she is very happy with it.
The Browning BPS Trap is nice looking but it doesn't have a side ejection port so you have to flip it over every time when loading one shell at a time.
The Winchester SXP Trap is cheaper and it looks cheaper too.

The fact they are not overly heavy would make them a real bonus for a woman shooter compared with say a Model 12 that is a pound heavier at minimum.
