Gunsmith in Alberta?

I'm looking to install a barrel and fix up a bolt on a Rem 700, can anyone recommend a smith who could have the rifle back by mid June?

Hoping to develop a load and compete in July.

Contact Henry Rempel. Two of my rifles got new barrels put on and one got trigger job and believe it or not I got them back within two weeks(each), yep not months. Yours may not be as quick coz its busy season but I'm pretty sure that if you drop it off ASAP you'll have it back in time. And quality of work is top notch. I also recommend henry Rempel. He just dropped off the 6 dasher he built for me in the mail, and it was two weeks ago that he received it. Also I have a 6br that he built and it shoots little tiny bug holes!!

Just PM Guntech on here. He's BC but he's quick and loves 700's. Great smith in my opinion.

My latest barrel replacement jobs have gone to Bob Galloway at Custom Gunworx, Rocky Mtn House. Very happy with the work and recommend his Rem action truing. Had him build an F-open rifle and stock it with one of "his design" stocks, rides the bags better than anything I've shot.

This is sound advice if one is a fullbore or F-class shooter.
However, his attitude and treatment of shooters outside of those limited disciplines is incredibly poor.
I personally would not p!ss on him if he was on fire.

Not slagging the skill or quality of work. Just pointing out his treatment and position of other shooting sports.
