Have been using a Bullsbag for a few years, in conjunction with a small bag under the butt.. works like a charm, very stable. Reduces felt recoil if you fill the bag with sand, with none of the negative effects of a lead sled. Downside is that it will weigh close to 40lbs!

The backstops with the windmill backdrop haha. That part of alberta is amazing

Sand bags. In particular cheap rip stop Cadwell front and rear bag set with a bit of leather on each where the gun rests that you fill with sand. No they're not the best but they do the job. Also with a Harris bipod but just on my 223 target rifle it lives there.

what's wrong with the lead sled? I'm a newbie and just got one.
