NS522 Question

The CZ snobs like to put down the Norincos, but I shoot both and a with a little time in the shop the Norincos are comparable to CZs. Ya'll are right about the ripoff "re-sellers" though. Its almost laughable whats going on.

Yep, best to get your NS522 and mags elsewhere!

Wow. My two S&L's aren't even close. Guess its time to break out the NS 522 and put it through the wringer. Did buy some large safety pins to do the trigger mod. These have god aweful triggers like my Stevens 200's neat that they're solved the same way.

Hahahahaha, yup! I'd say the Stevens 200's are just like the NS522.. diamond in the rough! I also own both . I was completely pissed off, but then extremely surprised, the first time I put a scope on it and went to just 'get it on paper' at 25 yards or so. First shot was on the paper but far left, only an inch or so from the edge, then I couldn't see the next 2 I took! thought they missed, when I got up to the target and they were through the same damn hole! both great rifles to tinker with!

I did not use the safety pin, cause it is not made of spring metal. I happened to find very light springs to replace the original strong springs for my two NS522s. Both of them have very light trigger pull of several ounces I think. And both of them can shoot 1 MOA by the way.

I will try that suggestion, I think I may have a box of Eley around here. When I shot it last week it was doing ok with some Blazers that I have.

Be patient, one will show up thats reasonable, the guys can use their overpriced ones for staking tomatoes this summer.

Your right , just what is a FAIR Price ,, supply and demand usually sets the price , no supply , higher prices , no demand lower prices , that's why Canada ammo dropped the price to 199.00 ,,, Marstar did the same thing with that Noco Semi auto 22 and sold out ,,,

Well I'll keep hoping for a fair minded fellow CGNer to drop me a line and we can work out a fair deal .

Thanks for the encouraging words of wisdom . :dancingbanana::runaway::dancingbanana:
