Revolver shotgun for your AR15

5 round limit is for semiautomatics. I can have a 30 round mag on my Grizzly pump. If they made them. And if they did, I would buy it.

The cylinder gap seemed close to the guy's wrist in the video, maybe there is a little blast shield somewhere.

The silenced version needs to be in "No country for old men II".

Man that is a lot of assumptions to come up with an opinion based no where in legal literature.

If it isn't covered by the legal wording, it isn't regulated, and thus legal. Laws say what you can't do, not what you can.

Yes, I completely agree. However firearms need to be classified with our current system whether we like it or not.
They are classified by the features they possess like barrel length, and other physical characteristics, as well as by their lineage.
So even if this firearm is legal by all the standards and definitions set out in the C.C.C. and F.A. the "lab" still can classify it by name.

So yeah it is a lot of assumptions, but lets face facts, the system we have is not what I would call "gun friendly", and legal literature or not, this firearm's classification largely depends on how the lab feels about it. So I will not speculate on what its class may be, or if the six round cylinder is considered a magazine or not.

So does it meet all the requirements to be NR/R based on its physical characteristics? Yes.
Could it be prohib because someone thinks it is too dangerous? Sure.

Is the gun classified? No, therefore We shall see if it is legal or not.

The point is that firearms are covered by the legal wording... including this one. Just not yet.

neither will be NR from what I can tell....the mounted one is too short and the stand alone one is.integrally suppressed

There is a stand alone that is not suppressed. I believe there are a variety of barrel lengths too, I am not sure what classification it would receive though.

12.5"
18"
22"
Are all available

Sigh...

That's a lot of typing for not being able to clarify why a cylinder is a magazine. Or might be.

Which it isn't.

And the classification of the gun would be separate than the classification of any potential magazine as those items are regulated separately.

What you have demonstrated is how a little bit of knowledge can be rambled on into something truly baffling, but will likely be repeated by others as "must be true"

You hypothesis is wrong, no matter how paranoid you are about what the lab might kinda sorta be able to do.

It is not my job to determine why or if a cylinder can be a magazine. frankly I don't care.

My point is this firearm has yet to be classified, and It could go either way.

Cylinder = Chamber x 6.

Also there is already an example...https://www.freedomventures.ca/products/rossi-circuit-judge As for it being 5 shots that's not for regulatory reasons.

Yes, but I believe restricted due to being manufactured on a revolver frame.

Also, I am unaware if there has been any precident set for removable cylinders?

This firearm is in a classification grey area. Hopefully the lab looks at it objectively.

I would buy one.

Looks like your correct on that one.

Cap and Ball Revolvers, Marstar sells a clone of an old Remington. You remove the cylinder to load it.

Since they called a rifle built on a revolver frame a handgun I'd say it really depends on if they took all their meds that morning.

Wow! It certainly ticks off all the boxes to be desirable. Bullpup, more than 5 shot, black, mounts to an AR, can be supressed. Now all they need to do is make it affordable and all will have one.
And cool factor of 10+.
