so we have a little time yesterday to strip these guns down and see what parts fit etc
these guns to me are very much like a Mossberg other then the mag tube system and the fact the barrel is fixed.
as always with many shotguns, some of the refindments are not there.
We changed out the mag spring, it was just garbage, made the norinco ones look good.
The mag tube follower was the same, while it did not melt into a pile of goop with gun cleaner like the norincos it was a very rought plastic molding, and after stripping and cleaning it would still jam.
we replaced it with our Mossberg .900 sized Green no jam follower.

Last thing we got to try was the single point sling mount.
while the stock system is much the same as a Mossberg 500/590 its a different size, so with a bit of fitting on the stock we got a our Mossberg single point sling mount to fit.
That said it "works but may not look the best"
Finish on the gun is a quality zinc phosphate "parkerising"
The heat shield is very well made, good stamping and nice welds.
The action is much like a Mossberg , but faster.
The barrel is a Heavy barrel much like Mossberg 590A1, so lots of meat for choke tubes.
Front sight is a machines brass bead that is straight, unlike most of the Norincos.
Range time this week.
Will post some photos later today
First feeling on quality is.

Better then any of the norincos.
About the same as the stevens 350
Built as strong as a Mossberg 590.
Priced about the same as all of the above

Hi there, I am planning to buy this shotgun. Just want to confirm that you still replace the original one with your S&J follower and mag tube spring, right? Your reply is appreciated.
