Anyone have any experience with the new RCBS universal case prep center? I like the idea of not having to hold the brass while trimming compared to something like the Giraud trimmers. I've started to become a somewhat higher volume shooter and trimming has become exhausting. I do have the Giraud tri way trimmer in .308 but my hands get sore after having to go through a few hundred cases.

This is the one I'm talking about.

Can you use it for all calibers? How much do they go for ?

They make different pilots for each caliber. You can also use the RCBS 3 way cutter on them, so it will cut, chamfer, and deburr all at once. Cheapest I found in Canada is $550, but hard to find any in stock. You also get the $50 rebate from RCBS as well.

I have been looking for one of these as well. Could someone point me in the direction of where these are going for 550, it would be appreciated.

Well screw it, I've hummed and hawed long enough about dropping decent money on a trimmer. I found prophet river listed them for $549. So I made my order, hopefully it's actually in stock.

I bought the Frankford Arsenal version I do a lot of 308 and 5.56 and it works great. The price was only around $200. It does a great job and no more sore hands from trimming.
