Custom fit ejector and new recoil spring.


Its no longer finnicky with ammo either. Fed it S&B, czech surplus, romanian surplus and some military privi all in one sitting. Not one single stoppage.

 
My late German father-in-law was a Panzer Grenadier. I asked him his favourites two weapons of the war.

Answer - "MG 34 and the Kubelwagon". I asked why? Answer - "When you needed it, the MG 34 worked." The Kubelwagon got him the hell out of Stalingrad before the complete encirclement.

I could have paid with a song!?! Why wasn't I told this?

And when he sold it it wouldn't fire more then a round or two. Haha. Which i knew. These guns are a labor of love. It takes a lot of tinkering and sourcing of hard to get parts to make them run!

If anyone needs any help with one pm me, I know this one inside and out now.

CSC has one for sale right now, at least they did on Sunday when I wandered through. I think they were asking $5200 for it, and it came with roughly 20 disintegrating link belt.
 
Then again, I didn't look all that close... It was burning my guts to think "There it is, right in front me, and i don't have $5200 to spare to buy it..."

After that point, I think I might have got a little misty eyed.
