I have a slightly bend sight rail that really bothers me but the shotgun otherwise is in perfect shape does anyone know where to order a new barrel it just doesn't make sense to sell it because its too reliable and never ever jams no matter what its fed.

when i needed a new barrel for my winchester sxp i called up the browning parts department and got the part number for the barrel i needed. after finding out the part number i called up a certified browning repair shop with the part # and they were able to order the barrel straight from browning. shipping wait times are a B%@# but i was able to get it.

Very expensive to boot. $500+ barrels. I'd be taking it to a Smith and see if it can be straightened.

It's not bent terribly bad I did bend it back it's very hardly noticeable, noticed wolverine has a Burris red dot for that model perhaps I should just buy that and be done with it

EPPS has some in stock

By sight rail I am assuming you mean the vent rib or are you referring to an sight mount of some sort like a cantilever mount or picatinny rail? If you are referring to the vent rib any good gunsmith can straighten a rib. Now why do you want a Red Dot sight on a shotgun? Is it a tactical style gun being used with slugs? If you have just a regular silver hunter I couldn't think of a bigger waste of money myself or worse sighting system for a shotgun.

I think he is talking of one of those Burris speed bead holo sights that sit between the receiver and stock. They apparently make it easier for those that don't know how to shoot.

can keep an eye on the "barrels" section of the gun dealer, and also the "odds and ends" section of Gagnon sports. both have browning barrels in stock, but not for a B Silver hunter of course. I have seen them move through as I am always checking (I have silver hunter too -how could one ditch such a reliable semi??).
I think the price and service at Epps might be hard to beat though (post #7)
best of luck!
