Nikon Encore 2.5-8x28 ability to withstand recoil?

I cant find this in stock anywhere in Canada, someone please tell me this is available here.... would be just my luck if it was a frekking US only model.
 
If that's the extended-eye-relief model for scout use, then good luck. I've had my eyes peeled for one for the last year or so with no success.

yeah I have yet to find it in stock in Canada and ive spent about 6 hours so far looking, not looking good. Hopefully the Nikon rep on the forums here can shed some light on the availability in Canada.

At this time we carry the entire model selection the US has unfortunately excluding the Encore series. Handgun scopes just don't have as much draw in Canada as they do in the US. If you're seriously interested please PM me and I can give you some details if you wanted to special order one.

Fortunately a friendly forum member has offered to sell me a used bushnell trophy XLT 2-6x32 pistol scope. If for any reason that falls through ill contact you to see if I can get a Nikon. I think there would be a large enough market to bring these in, it makes me sad they were excluded.
