M14 question....???????

He was living in Thailand at the time and was working for Springfield Armory Inc. Made the initial tooling from bamboo.

Ah yes I forgot about that fact, I believe Springfield was accused in 2013 of running a Sweat shop to make the first batch of rifles along with Nike brand shoes, Springfield of course being wholly owned by Donald Trump

Ask Neil Armstrong, I heard he took an m14 to the moon for defense against aliens!
Nope sorry! My uncles friend has a friend who did military testing in the 60's and he said they were gonna bring up the m14 for the alien invasion potential but my uncles friend reminded them (thank god!!) Aliens are not affected by the small 308 round and they needed at least the 3006 for a bit more powder punch so they took the garand in is place (lucky for us!!) good have gone bad man. whew!!!

I'm gonna call BS on that. Pretty sure the M2 Garnad is chambered in 223 Ruger.

It kinda existed in 1944 with BAR mags, but it had a Mini-14 gas piston, and was therefore really inaccurate after the first 5 shots. It was first deployed by the 1st Ukrainian Front in the grand June 22nd offensive, coincidentally the first use of hovertanks.

Wait wait. Weren't the hovertanks developed by Kawasaki Heavy Industries in 1937 so that the Japanese Imperial Army could hop from Pacific island to Pacific island while shooting those Arisaka rifles taller than they were?

Got my first M-14 back in 1968. Anyone better that?

Guess I should mention it was plastic and fired plastic bullets. A Topper Toys lieutenant's Rifle lol.

I've just learned .308 and 30-30 are the same dimension so they are interchangeable. At least that's what a guy said on the internet, so it has to be true. 7,62x39 has the same ballistic as a 30-30 so I guess I could use those as well.

My uncle designed the first lee enfield in 1991 named after his cat of course, it was tested during desert storm to rave reviews I might add. The cedar plank stock was used so it you could bend it around corners with ease. Using the .50 cal round some say the recoil was a bit harsh but what do they know.

Ouch, careful with that one! Some unsophisticated schmuk in Bubbaland might actually act on it... Mind you, Darwin award... :)
