Someone mentioned this in another thread and I was a little surprised. About time.

I thought the 10mm was loosing popularity but that doesn't seem to be the case south of the border. Even though we can't go hog hunting and factory ammo is not cheap, I'd love one of the 5" models. I wonder if the increase in popularity will ever decrease the cost of factory ammo.

Yeah I'm looking forward to this bad boy too...

IMO the market for 10mm autos is going to stay pretty limited. It's a specialist / enthusiast cartridge and i don't see a lot of people jumping on the bandwagon...esp. what with the FBI downgrading to the 9mm. I'll be handloading for my pistol, come the day...

Lovely idea but only in a 6" stainless if you use full load 10mm. Crappy baby loads make it pointless where you should just get a 45 and fullpower wants a longer barrel and slide for shootability.

Without handgun hunting it is just plain sad. Paper does care about fuĺlpower vs puny 10mm loads.

10mm is cheap if you reload, 10mm Starline brass is dirt cheap, bullets are easy to come buy as they are the same as 40 S&W.

And it's a hard hitting cartridge, I'm averaging 1383fps with a 180gr hard cast bullet in my Para LS Hunter Elite, that's around 764 ft/lbs of energy and a 248pf.

+1.
BTW, what powder are you using to get 1383 fps? I got 1100 fps yesterday out of a G20, but it was a 200gr TMJ over 8.2gr Longshot

Wow that is impressive. How do you like the para? I saw them listed a Epps a few months and was very tempted.

That's with 9.6gr of Longshot, no pressure signs, at 9.8gr I was starting to get some minor cratering, with a 180gr bullet. Another thing to keep in mind is my Para has a 6" barrel.

I got mine at Epps, so far I'm very impressed with it, no failures at all. Trigger was a little gritty but it's getting better. And it has a very well supported chamber, which you want with 10mm.

6" stainless version sounds awesome

Just sold my 10mm 610 revolver. Could not get easy access to 10mm ammo. .40 S&W did not give the bang I wanted and the factory 10mm wasn't much better but cost a lot more.
I don't reload...

Yes i saw that come up.

I hear you on ammo price. I don't reload either so I don't plan on shooting a high volume of 10mm. i was able to find a pretty good volume of ammo from another GCNer so that helped but it was still over .50 a round.

Listening to the video, makes it sound like these will all be Lipsey exclusives. Hope that doesn't mean they will be too much harder to come by. I know at least Clay at Profit brings in Lipsey's.
