SKS-D magazine compatabilty

Hey just wondering if any of you out their have used P mags in your SKS D models. I have a bunch of steel, but they are heavy and starting to misfeed a lot. I was just wondering what kind of mileage you guys have gotten from Magpul.
 
They work ok in my mc-5d but the SKS and plastic don't seem to last long and I had to do some significant filing for better fit. Maybe better in a D-model. Also on mine the mag would sometimes Pop out due to recoil. Metal are better.
